Crosby Hall Day 2

Wow! What a busy day! After breakfast we all split up into our groups and headed off to our activities. These were orienteering, pottery and the confidence course. We developed our team work and artistic skills. The fun didn't end there. After a delicious dinner we went back to the woods and worked in teams to build a shelter. This was great fun! After an exhausting day we were all ready for bed. We can't wait for tomorrow!

Crosby Hall Day One

Everybody has just woken up very early after our first night at Crosby Hall. Despite getting very wet yesterday, we had a lovely morning at Crosby Beach. Yesterday afternoon we headed to Crosby Hall to do a mini beast hunt in the woods. This was fun and we found lots of different insects. We couldn't wait to get to our rooms and unpack our cases. We ended the day with some relaxing T'ai Chi and a cup of hot chocolate. We are very excited to see what today will bring!

Pirate Day!

Year 2 have been learning all about pirates for our Literacy topic. We have read lots of different pirate stories, made treasure maps and wrote about pirate adventures. To celebrate all of our hard work and wonderful writing, we had a special pirate day. We all came into school dressed as pirates and took part in lots of fun activities. We even made a pirate video. The children have really enjoyed this topic, and the teachers have too!
